Catalog description
This course is an introduction to the subjects of wealth and poverty. Students will learn different economic theories regarding wealth accumulation and its impediments. Topics of study to include: educational attainment, accident of birth, technological change, contemporary conditions, globalization, urbanization, labor markets, market concentration, tax codes, and emerging theories from current debates on the subject. Prerequisite: ECO-201
