Catalog description

Provides work experiences in a clinical setting. Emphasis is placed on enhancing skills in venipuncture techniques. Topics include: introduction to clinical policies, procedures and work ethics; routine collections: adult (i.e. pediatric, newborn) and special procedures. Due to age requirements set by our partnering clinical facilities, all students must be 18 years of age or older to enroll in this course. This policy ensures compliance with clinical site regulations and supports a safe and professional training environment.
