This course is an introduction to the theory of microeconomics through an examination about how individuals make decisions. In this course we explore the factors related to demand and supply. After an examination of efficient market outcomes, we investigate those cases where efficiency is not attained either through government policies or market failures. We will learn about the production and distribution of goods within a market economy under different market conditions. Prerequisite: MAT 094 or by placement. Education
