Catalog description
This course explores the ethical, social, and professional responsibilities of individuals working in information technology fields. Students examine real-world scenarios involving privacy, data security, intellectual property, digital equity, and the societal impact of emerging technologies. Ethical frameworks and decision-making models are applied to contemporary issues faced by IT professionals, organizations, and the communities they serve. Prerequisites: CIS 120 and ENG 101 with a "C" or better.
