Artificial Intelligence Literacy

Catalog description

This course is an introduction to artificial intelligence for students with no prior technical experience. Students explore what AI is and how it developed, examine AI tools they already use, understand how AI learns from data, analyze real ethical dilemmas created by AI systems, and complete a collaborative project applying AI tools to a problem of their choosing. This course prepares students for discipline- specific AI coursework across the curriculum.
