Catalog description

This course extends the principles of finance to an international setting. We will focus on economic principles, mathematical tools, financial instruments, and coding techniques to understand market imperfections, the management of exchange risk exposure, and the expanded global opportunity set for international investments. Major topics of the course include foreign exchange markets, determination and forecasting of the exchange rates with different models, methods in foreign exchange risk management, and international investments.
