This course is an introduction to fundamental theory and technical aspects of music. Topics covered include notation, intervals, scales, rhythm, meter, elementary ear training and sight singing, and an introduction to the keyboard. This course is not intended for music majors but is recommended in preparation for Music Theory 1.
