This course will examine contemporary health care issues that affect the management and delivery of health services. The course will address the current and emerging issues of health care, management and policy in the United States and include discussions on events surrounding the state of the field today. Topics include economic trends, legal/ethical issues, employment trends, new technological developments, and population demographics and projections for the future on various types of healthcare organizations.
