Catalog description

It is designed to provide the basic knowledge and skills for working in a social service setting as it relates to the general welfare of the population. Topics covered in this course will include health, aging, education, and need-based services, just to name a few. This course will immerse students in social services through group discussions of required texts, group activities, exams, and a term project.
