Nursing Capstone

Catalog description

Students will plan a group project which explores a problem or issue focusing on social determinants of health of particular personal or professional interest and to address that problem or issue through evidence-based practice under the direction of a faculty member. The project plan will require an extensive written and oral assignment that incorporates concepts and principles learned throughout the nursing program including related social, ethical, political, and economic elements. Final group project plans will be presented to faculty and stakeholders including students, staff, and community partners.
