Catalog description

The focus is on understanding intra- and inter-disciplinary collaboration while exploring various sub-disciplines in nursing such as critical care, emergency department, or management and leadership of higher acuity patients. Aspects of wellness and illness and the impact of the social determinants of health will be explored. The emphasis is on understanding the impact of populations with high acuity illness on communities and on understanding physiologic, spiritual, and psychosocial changes associated with severe illness.
