Catalog description
Upon the completion of the course, students are able to: 1) install and configure a multi-user serve OS and computer programs in a server computer; 2) manage (add, remove and/or restrict) user accounts in the system with access privileges; 3) monitor system resource (such as CPU, memory and I/O) usages and utilize the monitored results for effective administration; 4)operate master consoles using command line interfaces to install/configure/monitor computer systems; 5) use scripting language to automate common administration tasks; 6) describe basic issues (including user access privileges, file system permissions) in security as system administrator.
