Catalog description

Upon completion of this course, students will: 1) Describe the foundations of computer graphics; hardware systems, math basis, light, and color. 2) Identify applications of computer graphics. 3) Construct transformations, rotations, and scaling using transformation matrices, 4) Compose graphics programs using a graphics library such as Graphic Design Interface (GDI). 5) Explain key components of the rendering pipeline, especially visibility, rasterization, viewing, and shading. 6) Explain the complexities of modeling realistic objects.
