Upon completion of this course students will be able to: (1) understand the key concepts of e-commerce; (2) demonstrate knowledge of various e-commerce business models; (3) identify and discuss current business issues in e-commerce; (4) demonstrate an understanding of the technology infrastructure for e-commerce; (5) demonstrate a working knowledge of security issues related to e-commerce; (6) evaluate different types of payment systems used in ecommerce; (7) demonstrate an understanding of the online marketing communications in e-commerce; (8) demonstrate proficiency in developing a business report on the Web using HTML; (9) analyze and evaluate an e-commerce business; (10) plan an e-commerce business.
