Catalog description

Interns will go through the process of identifying potential internship sites, acquiring an internship, negotiating internship tasks and expectations, and designing an internship that is approved by the program. Several professional development skills such as business etiquette, ethical practices, diversity training, HIPAA and time management will be emphasized. The field experience will provide opportunities to explore career choices, develop a professional network, and gain advanced training opportunities.
