Catalog description

Themes to be explored include cross-cultural perspectives on death, grief and coping, funeral practices and body disposition, medical and legal ethics, euthanasia, and suicide. This course also guides students to reflect on their own attitudes regarding death and dying by analyzing personal experiences of loss.
