Catalog description

Risk factors for various cardiovascular illnesses and events will be explored. Students will learn about various first responder roles outside the acute care setting and medical response team roles in the acute setting. Students will have the ability to obtain his/her CPR health care provider certification during the course, along with First Aid and Stop the Bleed. Students who have an unexpired BCLS/AED/ certification will need to perform only one BCLS CPR re-take the CPR test and complete the return demonstration exam.
