Students gain hands-on experience through assigned projects that build on collaboration, team work and problem solving. There is also an experiential learning component that gives students first-hand experience with relevant industry practices. GFA 3010 is the upper-level option of GFA 2010 . Students cannot take both the 2000 and 3000/4000 level option of equivalent courses. Either the 2000 or 3000 level course would satisfy the prerequisite for its related 4000 level course. If pursuing the Nexus, the 3000/4000 level-upper division course is required. Pursuing the 2000 level course will not result in a Nexus degree, but may be used towards GFA certification.
