Catalog description
The course investigates the changing locations and spatial patterns of economic activity, including: production in agriculture, manufacturing, and services; spatial economic principles of trade, transportation, communications, and corporate organization; regional economic development, and the diffusion of technological innovation. The course examines the relationship between the globalization of economic activity and regional development. Additionally, this course examines the causes and geographic patterns of social inequality worldwide.
