Catalog description

Working from a survey of the history of human-computer interaction and a survey of classical and modern rhetoric, the course considers how textuality, community, and identity are shaped by digital technologies. Students will be expected to compose expository and research-driven texts in digital environments, and to consider the political, economic, social, and cultural impacts of digital technologies.
