Catalog description

It is designed to be taken along with EDUC 4895B Student Teaching: Planning and Assessment. This course is a semester-long full-time teaching experience in a school setting, under the supervision of a qualified classroom teacher and college faculty. Candidates will transition form collaborative planning and teach to full-time teaching responsibility. Candidates will be expected to assume all of the classroom responsibilities of the supervising teacher, as well as extra duty assignments. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, and effective use of instructional strategies, as well as provision of a positive and academically challenging learning environment for all students.
