Grades 6-12 Practicum

Catalog description

Candidates will transition from collaborative planning and teaching to full-time teaching responsibility. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, and effective use of instructional strategies, as well as provision of a positive and academically challenging learning environment for all students. Candidates will examine student permanent records and live data systems as well as develop, implement and assess the effectiveness of teaching plans for specific students, in conjunction with cooperating teachers at field experience sites.
