Biotechnology Laboratory

Catalog description

Co-requisite: BIOL 3300K A stand-alone laboratory course that concentrates on the fundamental laboratory techniques used in biotechnology. Upon completion of this course, students will: (1) master biotechnology laboratory skills through participation in a multi-week project; (2) explain the theories and design of experiments for the project applying those technologies; (3) develop skills in associated computer technologies appropriate to the project; (4) establish a detailed and accurate laboratory notebook.
