Mycology with Laboratory

Catalog description

Upon completion of this course, students will: (1) demonstrate knowledge of the important features of fungi including morphology, structure, physiology and metabolism; (2) demonstrate knowledge of the roles of fungi in various ecosystems; (3) explain the direct and indirect impacts of fungi upon humans; (4) gain experience isolating and identifying numerous macroscopic and microscopic fungal specimens.
