Examines the social construction of disability as it pertains to questions of gender, sexuality, race, and class; representations of disability in literature and film; disability, embodiment, and reproductive rights; queerness and disability; the concept of “passing” and invisible disabilities: asexuality and disability; and rhetorics of disability in the U.S. academy.
