Catalog description

This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to explore selected issues in theater history in greater depth than is possible in the typical survey course. The focus is on the process of doing original theater history research: selecting areas of inquiry, identifying and evaluating sources, gathering contextual materials, formulating research questions, and presenting the results in compelling ways, whether in writing, orally, or in electronic media.
