This course empowers students to develop the skills and knowledge to innovate and develop entrepreneurial business solutions to some of today's most challenging system opportunities. These systems of systems include: energy, transportation, shelter, food, water, health care, education, urgent climate and environmental challenges. Working in interdisciplinary teams, students will tackle pressing issues such as water security, renewable energy, sustainable transportation, urban resilience, ecosystem preservation, and clean technology innovation. Through close collaboration with external partners and guidance from experts in entrepreneurship, science, technology, and engineering, students will apply lean startup principles to develop skills and knowledge to develop technological and business solutions to create impactful products, services, or technologies.
