Advanced Biostatistical Methods II. 3 credits

Catalog description

This course is the second in a two-course sequence in biostatistics that introduces statistical theory, methods, and computing which provide foundations to common biostatistical methods. The main emphasis of the course is on biostatistical models, survival analysis, and longitudinal data analysis. Specific topics include modeling and analysis of time to event data, linear mixed effects models, generalized linear models for correlated data (including generalized estimating equations), and computational issues and methods for fitting models.
