Catalog description

A supervised statistics-related experience working for a government agency, in the private sector or on approved summer research program. Based on input from the client, the student and faculty coordinator agree on the overall scope of the project including learning objectives, work plan, and expected outputs. Students will periodically inform the faculty coordinator of their status and, on completion of the internship, will document the experience with a comprehensive report or a departmental oral presentation. Offered by Statistics . May be repeated within the degree for a maximum 6 credits.
