Presents best practices for social work practitioners working in the K-12 school setting, understanding educational policy and special education, and addressing mental health and concerns of students in the school culture, such as bullying and drug/violence prevention. Content on intervention planning will assist students in selecting interventions to be used in the school setting which are matched with client problems across diverse populations, cultural backgrounds, sociopolitical contexts, and available resources.
