Catalog description

Equips students with the prerequisite knowledge and values required for promoting change within organizations and communities. Change is understood from its implications for promoting antiracist, equitable and inclusive social policies, standards in the delivery of social services, and distribution of community resources. An overview of the historical and sociopolitical dynamics of social institutions that result in privilege for some populations and oppression for others will be reviewed. Offered by Social Work .
