Develops skills for practice with individuals and families through a variety of skill building exercises such as demonstrations, structured role-plays, critical evaluation of video-taped sessions, and feedback from peers and instructor. Multiple opportunities exist to engage, assess, and intervene with hypothetical clients and client systems. Self-reflection is another component of the learning experience as students will enhance their cognitive and affective processes related to work with individuals and families.
