This course is intended to give students a broad understanding of the nature of counterinsurgency, the policy implications of the U.S. becoming involved in an insurgency, and the multifaceted, interagency approach that is required to successfully combat an insurgency. The course includes case studies, a review of contemporary U.S. counterinsurgency practices, and insights on what the future might hold in this important type of conflict.Offered by Schar Public Policy/Admin.
