Uses the traditional tools of history and theory to analyze grand strategy. The goal is to gain an in-depth understanding of effective and ineffective grand strategies so as to inform U.S. policy, or that of other countries. Analyzing the strategic implications of policy-making, it takes a long view of effective statecraft, using current means to achieve large ends.Offered by Schar Public Policy/Admin.
