This course reviews the multiple factors that influence performance in human factors contexts such as industry, transportation, and autonomous systems. It covers the cognitive foundations of performance, human error, the role of environmental stressors, and individual differences in personality and mood. The emphasis throughout is on the application of cognitive science to understanding human factors issues including safety, productivity, and use of technology. Offered by Psychology .
