Catalog description

This course fulfills the matriculation requirement for awardees of the Department of Defense Boren Fellowship. It provides students with necessary information and resources before their departure overseas, leveraging the pre-orientation provided by the Boren award and the Global Education Office. Students will regularly engage in activities to encourage critical reflection on their overseas experience, track their development in communication skills (a primary goal of the Boren awards), and prepare them to enter the federal work force upon return to the United States. Offered by Provost's Office . May be repeated within the degree for a maximum 3 credits.
