Grounds students in the principles of the scientific method as the framework for investigating questions in the social sciences and public policy. Provides broad overviews of quantitative or/and qualitative methodologies, with a major emphasis on research design, including conceptualization, the role of theory, hypothesis generation, inference and bias.Offered by Schar Public Policy/Admin.
