Builds on Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Practicum I, improving diagnostic and clinical reasoning ability and competence in assessment, diagnosis, and management of psychiatric disorders. Enables the student to assume increased responsibility in the delivery of comprehensive mental health care. Participates in professional and community organizations to promote the health of patients while enhancing the role of practitioner. Offered by Nursing . May not be repeated for credit.
