Catalog description

Theoretical application of assessment, diagnosis and management of primary health care problems which will enable the nurse practitioner student to assume increased responsibility in the delivery of primary care to families and individuals across the life span. Special emphasis is given to the primary care needs of families with elderly and medically underserved members. Seminar, student presentations and lectures. Notes: Required course in Family Nurse Practitioner concentration. Offered by Nursing . May not be repeated for credit.
