Expands nursing students' understanding of population-focused health care. Emphasis will be on prevention principles in primary, secondary, and tertiary care of health problems. Students will be exposed to concepts of community, public health, and health policy affecting culturally diverse and vulnerable populations in a selection of community and public health settings.
