Focuses on collaboration with the community to design and implement population-based interventions that promote the health of the community and its members. Students apply principles of epidemiology, public health, health promotion, disease prevention, community resourcing, and community engagement, focusing on the role of the community/public health nurse caring for individuals, families, communities, and populations.
