Catalog description

The goal of this course is to provide students the opportunity to conduct practical action research as a means to address an existing problem in their classroom or rehearsal setting. Students will identify a research problem, gather and organize the data, analyze the data, share the results with participants, and develop an action plan. The results of this class can help teachers (a) improve educational practice, (b) improve their craft, and (c) learn to identify and solve problems in a systematic fashion. Offered by Dewberry School of Music . May not be repeated for credit.
