Catalog description

This course instructs students on how to compose tonal music through the study of counterpoint. Students will learn simple two-part counterpoint with consonance and dissonance, advancing to composition of tonal harmonic progressions, including chromaticism, leading ultimately to a complete tonal composition. Offered by Dewberry School of Music . Limited to three attempts.
