This course provides students in the BM, BA in Music, or the BFA in Musical Theater who are unfamiliar with music notation with essential analytical tools, aural skills, and keyboard skills to support thinking critically about and understanding music, focusing on American popular music, jazz, and musical theater repertoire. A student completing this course should be empowered to perform and even lead a rehearsal from a notated score. Offered by Dewberry School of Music . Limited to three attempts.
