Fundamentals of decision making with applications to mechanical engineering product and systems design, system reliability, and system operation and maintenance; product/system evaluation and optimization; design and systems theory; and social choice theory. This course takes the view that engineers are decision makers and presents the fundamentals of good decision making in the context of mechanical engineering. Offered by Mechanical Engineering .
