This class provides an introduction to the principles and applications of CFD. The foundational theory and governing equations of fluid flow and heat transfer will be presented and applied using commercial software. Students will develop the ability to set up, run, and interpret the results of CFD simulations of primarily mechanical engineering problems. Offered by Mechanical Engineering .
