Catalog description

Advanced Legal Writing is designed for law students accepted as Writing Fellows in the First-Year LRWA Program. Course participants deepen their understanding of predictive and persuasive legal writing while developing the skills necessary to communicate and teach these concepts effectively to first-year students. The course emphasizes legal research, legal analysis, critical thinking, time management, professionalism, leadership, and collaboration. This course offers 6 graded credits and 6 CR/NC credits.Offered by Law. May be repeated within the degree for a maximum 12 credits.
