Catalog description

This course will introduce students to the basic laws of computer crimes, including the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and various laws relating to online piracy, inappropriate content, intellectual property protection, and the like. The course will also cover challenges relating to the investigation and prosecution of computer crimes including the gathering and validation of digital evidence and attribution of online activities.Offered by Law. May not be repeated for credit.
