Catalog description

The seminar will focus on the U.S. approach to antitrust matters involving intellectual property rights, including conduct involving standard-essential patents, with comparison to foreign approaches by courts and agencies in Canada, China, Europe, Korea, Japan, and India. The course will include guest speakers from the U.S. antitrust agencies, as well as leading practitioners. Grading will be based on class participation and a seminar paper.Offered by Law. May not be repeated for credit.
