Catalog description

This class considers the laws regarding unmanned aircraft systems (drones) and driverless (or self-driving) cars. The class will address certification, regulation, and enforcement authority, the allocation of responsibilities among Federal, State, and local governments, and current tort law. It will also consider how Congress and the States might change these laws and whether tort law might be adapted in light of the highly automated nature of these technologies.Offered by Law. May not be repeated for credit.
